4th of July Fireworks update

The decision to move forward with the July 4th fireworks was carefully considered after all alternative options were exhausted. Once an appropriate launch site was identified, we had an onsite meeting with the fireworks technician (authorized to hand light only) to survey the launch site, coordinated with three fire departments (West Shore, Peninsula Fire and Clear Creek) to be onsite during and after the launch and have been in contact with Plumas County Sheriff’s office and CHP regarding both vehicle and boat patrol.

Also, you may be aware, due to fluctuating lake levels and unforeseen circumstances, this year's fireworks display will be relocated adjacent to Chester Airport. Thanks to the generous support of All Phase Landscape this year’s fireworks show will be launched from private property after 9pm on Thursday, July 4th . For your safety, there is no access allowed to the private property for pedestrians or vehicles.

Again, we are committed to providing a spectacular show for all attendees and eagerly anticipate returning to our traditional lakeside location for next year's event.
